Unveiling the Divine Within: A Call to Awaken Beyond Religion

When you think about your spiritual journey, which parts feel authentic, and which seem imposed by outside forces?

There’s something powerful that’s been stirring within me, a need to talk about the Bible, awakenings, and our journey through the confines of structured belief systems. This topic can be easily misconstrued, so I’ve been thoughtful in sharing this insight with you. This isn’t about pointing fingers or invalidating anyone’s path but an invitation to question, explore, and awaken in a way that honors our ancestors, our roots, and our true selves.

The Revelation Dilemma

When I think of “revelations” and the idea of certain people “earning” their place in heaven, it doesn’t sit right with me. Spiritual awakening isn’t a checklist; it’s a journey—a journey where each of us is called to look deeper within ourselves. But the path of awakening often brings us face-to-face with past pains, such as the religious trauma so many of us carry, often without even realizing it. We’re told to sacrifice our connection to our roots, our ancestors, even our families, just to fit into a mold that may not honor who we truly are.

The Shadows of History

Reflecting on history, it’s hard not to see how organized religion has been used as a tool of control. Christianity’s involvement in slavery, the destruction of indigenous spirituality, and the persecution of shamans and healers in the name of “devil worship”—these are scars that ripple through our histories and our spirits. They’ve divided and conquered lands and people, turned the free world into a controlled one, and attempted to erase the wisdom of ancient tribes. For centuries, they silenced voices of power, claiming this earth and its people as their own by force.

Yet, I’m not here to judge anyone who has found their connection to the divine through church. I know that path has brought solace to many. But I believe there’s a new way, a way that doesn’t suppress, doesn’t divide, but unites and heals. If you’re a light worker, you know how your energy is often misunderstood, even challenged. Yet, this is the path we must walk—to stand in our truth, no matter the resistance.

The Power of Self and the Quality of Life

There’s a truth I hold dear: our quality of life is directly tied to the quality of our thoughts, words, food, sleep, fitness, purpose, environment, and relationships. So much of our suffering is born from a system that controls our minds and bodies, that cages our spirits in the name of tradition or even societal norms. But I don’t believe all suffering is mental illness or a curse. Sometimes, it’s energy, spirit, past wounds that need healing, that can’t be named or solved by medicine alone.

In a world often divided by beliefs, Billy Carson’s approach to spirituality offers a refreshing perspective. Through his 4biddenknowledge podcast and social media platforms, he seamlessly blends ancient wisdom with modern science, honoring both the old and the new consciousness emerging on our planet. His work emphasizes that exploring faith with an open mind and a scientific spirit doesn’t mean rejecting God; rather, it means recognizing that the divine is within and around us, reflecting our own essence.

One aspect that Carson often highlights is the transformation of sacred texts over time. He explores how the King James Version of the Bible differs significantly from the original ancient tablets it was translated from, noting that certain books were removed or altered—not because God wished to hide them from us, but rather because they didn’t align with specific agendas of those in power. This reshaping of spiritual teachings, Carson argues, has limited our access to the full depth of wisdom that was once available in these ancient civilizations, especially in places like Egypt, where profound knowledge about the self, the universe, and divine connection was actively used and passed down.

Carson’s deep connections to Egypt, one of the last ancient civilizations known to have actively utilized profound spiritual knowledge, further enrich his teachings. By delving into the mysteries of ancient Egypt, he uncovers insights that resonate with our innate understanding of the divine.

As we reflect on these perspectives, consider this: What truths resonate with you beyond tradition and structure?

Awakening to the Christ Consciousness

We are in a new era—a diversity paradigm. The Christ Consciousness has returned, not in the way of traditional religious stories but in an awakening, a shift in human consciousness. This consciousness is teaching us spiritual codes, the colors and energies that align us with higher truths and with each other. Our current reality might seem chaotic, but that chaos is a catalyst for awakening.

This call to awakening is deeply personal for each of us, shaped by our roots and experiences. As a Black woman, I’ve found strength in studying Hoodoo, a practice rooted in my heritage and tied deeply to the African spiritual traditions that existed long before colonization. Hoodoo reminds me that the magic we carry is sacred, and that our ancestors’ wisdom endures. So much of what we’re told to fear—mysticism, indigenous wisdom—is what they use to control us. The ancient mystic schools were destroyed, and their teachings hidden in the Vatican’s archives. Knowledge that could empower us was buried, replaced with stories that served only a few.

Reclaiming Our Power and Our Connection to the Divine

The power lies in sitting with God—not the God we were told to fear, but the God of unconditional love. That love is within each of us. We are made of God, and we carry that love within us as a birthright. So whether you see this divine presence as God, the universe, or simply yourself, nurture it with self-love, compassion, and acceptance. Let go of the belief that you must earn love—it is already yours.

A New Vision, A New Culture

MoonFam, my goal is to awaken each of us to a new culture, one where we don’t feel forced into boxes but are free to express and explore who we truly are. We control our reality, and when we understand this, we can create a world worth living in. True leadership isn’t about taking power; it’s about empowering others, leading from a place of authenticity and unity.

Until we recognize our role in shaping this world and take responsibility for how our actions impact others, we’ll remain in a broken society. But I believe in the possibility of change, in the rise of this new consciousness where each of us can stand in our power, free of fear, fully aligned with the divine within.

Trusting the Journey Back to Self and Spirit

MoonFam, as we reflect on this journey beyond traditional beliefs, let’s dive into some real talk. Organized religion has often been used as a tool for control, creating division and suppressing the wisdom of our ancestors. But what if reclaiming our spirituality meant seeing the divine as something within us and all around us, not confined to any one belief system?

As we walk this path of self-discovery, let’s remember that our connection to the divine doesn’t need to be confined by tradition or the limits others have set for us. True spirituality is about finding what resonates with your soul, honoring the wisdom of our ancestors, and embracing the new consciousness that is emerging. Whether you find meaning in ancient teachings, modern science, or a blend of both, trust that your journey is uniquely yours.

Reflect on what it means to stand in your own power and create a life of purpose, love, and authenticity. How can you explore spirituality in a way that’s true to who you are?

With love and light,
