Hey Moonfam,
Have you ever felt like you’re carrying an energy so heavy, it’s not even yours? Like you’re living in a cycle that’s somehow bigger than just this life, something ancient and deeply woven into who you are? I know I have. And as the Moon lights up my Second House, it’s become clear just how important grounding is to me, especially in my home and sense of stability. Beyond the comfort of physical space, my journey to manifesting a life that truly aligns with my higher self has been filled with lessons in balance, surrender, and transmutation.
For years, I didn’t fully realize the power I have to transform energy. My ability to shift negative forces into light often showed up only when I was in the thick of it. Recently, though, I found myself surrounded by a toxic drama that felt like it was poisoning my spirit. I finally understood: this cycle needed to end. I was ready to let go of everything that wasn’t serving me. What followed was a journey of surrender, karmic release, and a deep understanding of duality—realizing I am both dark and light, a blend of divine feminine and masculine energies.
One of the most profound realizations I’ve had is that duality is the law of life—a truth intertwined with the Law of Polarity. This universal law reminds us that everything exists in pairs: light and dark, joy and sorrow, each containing the seeds of the other. Embracing this balance has allowed me to understand that I am both dark and light, a blend of divine feminine and masculine, and each side doesn’t oppose the other but brings me closer to wholeness.
When I view life through this lens, I see that every challenge holds within it the possibility of growth. Pain can lead to healing, fear can show me courage, and in surrender, there’s strength. Accepting duality has helped me transform darkness into light and approach life with both the drive to act and the space to reflect, finding harmony within myself.
Manifesting isn’t about mindlessly chanting affirmations; it’s a belief system built on the foundation of our actions, thoughts, and experiences. Too many people go through life on autopilot, consumed by illusions and distractions. They don’t ask questions or challenge the scripts they’ve been handed. For me, manifesting begins with stepping into the role of the “third person,” where I watch myself with awareness, hearing my true voice as if from an observer’s perspective. It’s in this space of awareness that the divine or the universe speaks back, offering ideas and answers I might never have considered on my own.
So much of my journey has been about finding balance—not just between light and dark, or masculine and feminine, but also between my practical approach to life and a willingness to explore its more mysterious, enigmatic aspects. I’ve come to realize that the richest, most fulfilling experiences often come from navigating the unknown. When we allow ourselves to grow through life’s inherent uncertainties, we open up to possibilities we may never have imagined.
As part of this balance, I’ve established practices to help keep me grounded while remaining open to life’s mysteries. Every week, I engage in candle magic—a ritual that is deeply personal to me but not for everyone. Setting intentions or prayer can be just as powerful, offering the same kind of grounding and focus. Every few days, or whenever my energy feels drained, I recall my energy and cut any cords that might be pulling me down. Each morning, I pray, asking the divine for help in protecting my peace, mind, and heart. These practices ground me, ensuring that I’m energetically clear, aligned, and ready to face whatever the day brings.
The journey to realizing our dreams isn’t always solo. Part of manifesting involves knowing when to ask for help. Whether it’s leaning on friends, hiring mentors, or entrusting others with tasks, asking for support isn’t weakness. It’s a step toward grounding our vision in reality.
And, of course, discernment is essential. The world is filled with both constructive criticism and destructive energy. We need to recognize those who offer insights and those who throw stones, hoping to pull us down. Even at the highest levels, this competition exists, with the 2% competing with the 1%. But focusing on our unique paths and breaking free from others’ judgments allows us to stay true to our journey.
Then there’s transmutation—the beautiful power to transform chaos into creativity and forward motion. Instead of letting challenges drain me, I now see each one as raw energy, waiting to be reshaped. By embracing both the dark and light within me, I can transform even the heaviest energies around me into something meaningful.
In the end, Moonfam, we’re here to share our light. When we hold joy close and share it, it doesn’t just multiply—it lifts everyone around us. So, as you navigate your own journey, remember to embrace both your light and your shadow, and let that balance shine out into the world.
Love and light,
Jojo
