What experiences in life helped you grow the most?
The experiences that have made me grow the most have been the periods of darkness—those moments where everything felt heavy, like I was carrying an impossible weight. Reflecting on it now, I understand that these moments were necessary, like Pluto’s influence in my Capricorn, bringing transformation through slow, steady pressure. Over the past 16 to 18 years, I’ve faced cycles of struggle, sometimes stretching so long that I couldn’t see the end of it. But that’s where the real growth happens, right in the middle of what feels unbearable.
In those dark moments, I’ve learned to find my inner strength, my resilience, and my truth. It wasn’t about pushing the darkness away but learning to sit with it, to see it as part of the process. Like the saying goes, pressure creates diamonds, and I can feel that now—how each struggle has shaped me, sometimes painfully, but always deeply.
The beauty of these years, as hard as they were, is that they’ve allowed me to release parts of myself that were no longer serving me. I’ve let go of so many old versions of myself, shed so many layers, and each time I’ve come back stronger, clearer, more aligned. It’s almost like the waning moon in my own life, letting go and forgiving, not just others but myself, too. The biggest growth for me came from surrendering to these cycles, trusting that even in the hardest times, something beautiful was being formed deep within.
These struggles taught me patience, faith, and most importantly, how to heal myself. Looking back, I see that these experiences have been my greatest teachers, reminding me that darkness doesn’t last forever and that there’s always light, even if it’s just a sliver.
Love and light,
Jojo
